PR-001 "T" CLIP

A LSZH quick release nylon "T" clip with flammability to UL94, a melt temperature of 220C, specific gravity of 1.18, moisture absorption of 1% and weight per 1,000 units of 2.5 kgs. This Proline linear sensor cable fixing provides a clear air flow between the installed sensing cable and risk being protected - enhancing operating sensitivity. Clip design allows for rapid removal of installed sensor cable as may be called for from time to time due to routine site maintenance without also having to remove the clip/s.

PR-003 "V" CLIP

A passivated spring steel clip designed primarily for cable tray applications which provides regular (1.0m - 1.5m) support to the installed Proline "TH" linear sensor cable whilst ensuring a clear airflow exists between linear sensor cable and tray work. Design, material and manufacture allow rapid time /cost saving installation. Also available manufactured in Stainless Steel - minimum 2,000 qty.


A grade 316 Stainless Steel bracket for suspending Proline "TH" linear sensor cable with RILSAN corrosion and abrasion resistant outer extrusion above fuel storage tank floating roof secondary seals. Rim seal protection around the circumference of the roof ensures ignition of gas leakage between roof and tank wall from materials being stored or from a ruptured seal is rapidly detected by the "point of risk" protection afforded by the linear sensor cable. PR-004 bracket is                                                                                     designed to utilise the same fixing as the roof seal whilst PR-004A design is for                                                                                   mounting onto tank roof foam dam (where fitted).


The edge clip /clamp is a fixing device to be used for mounting linear sensor cable to structures no thicker than 20 mms. This device offers firm and regular 1.0 to the Proline sensor cable whilst retaining a clear air flow around the installed cable.


Manufactured from Nylon 6.6 material. Designed for applications where Proline linear sensor cable is to be supported from rather than fixed to mechanical structures. One typical example would be transformer protection where sprinkler pipework.installed by others.would be utilised to support the sensor cable from at regular 1.0 metre intervals.


For use in conjunction with Proline small gauge nylon covered Stainless Steel messenger wire where regular fixing of the installed sensor cable is not possible. The messenger wire is to be wrapped around the sensor cable at approximately 3 turns/metre. With the eye bolt installed at one end of the messenger wire and the turn buckle at the opposite end, the wire can be tensioned to remove any "slack"/"sag". A maximum distance of 75 metres should be allowed between each end of the messenger wire.with interim supports provided at 15.0m intervals.


A UL listed and PROLINE accepted alternative to the use of IP55 minimum rated junction box joints for the sensor cable. The insulated crimp is to be used in conjunction with an appropriate ratchet crimping tool.

PR-010 SPN3 "P" CLIP

A zinc electroplated steel body which offers good resistance to corrosion in a diverse range of applications. The "Santoprene" cushion provides excellent electrical insulation. The clip also offers vibration absorption and anti-chafing of the installed sensor cable which might otherwise occur from movement of the clip. A 6.0 mm stud hole accommodates the full range of Proline linear sensor cables.


High resistant self - adhesive fasteners with excellent chemical and mechanical resistance properties which are maintained at high temperatures. Ideal for demanding applications with heat resistance to 180C and resistance to most chemicals with a flame rating of UL94 V-0. The end user must accept responsibility for ensuring installation of all self adhesive devices to clean, dry, grease free surfaces. Failure to do so will result in the movement of the clip and the preferred location of the linear detection cable.

Fibre Optic Linear Temperature Sensing
